Eastwood has scored its own version of a 1st XV by remaining undefeated after a 39-24 victory over second-placed Manly.

The scoreline doesn’t give a clear indication of the intensity of the match, with the majority of points coming from the boot.

Eastwood scored three tries to two however it was the boot of Pierre Hola which proved decisive with six penalties and three conversions contributing 24 points.

Despite the loss Manly remain three points clear of Eastern Suburbs and Sydney University in second place on the ladder.
