Eastwood took out the 2010 minor premiership and have started 2011 in breathtaking form with a 39-20 victory over Southern Districts at T.G. Millner Field.
Four first half tries – including a hat-trick to Mark Frost – gave the home side a 26-13 lead at the break, however a converted try ten minutes into the second half brought the margin to within a converted try.
That was simply a trigger for Eastwood to put the foot down and Nic White capped a strong debut for Eastwood with a try. Ben Batger slotted the conversion and added two more penalties to take the game out of Souths’ reach with a personal haul of 17 points.
