Statement: Craig Hawkings Appointed Head of Colts for 2026

Eastwood Rugby is pleased to announce that Craig Hawkings has been appointed Head of Colts for the 2026 season. Craig is highly respected within the club and rugby community, and has a proven track record in player development and pathway progression. 

Craig has played a pivotal role in strengthening Eastwood Rugby’s relationships with local schools and district clubs, coaching teams to premiership success and leading our junior representative program. His leadership has been instrumental in building a robust talent pipeline, and his appointment reflects our commitment to strong foundations and the enduring success of the Colts program. 

Craig’s new appointment will involve leading the Colts coaches and overall program, while continuing his excellent work with schools and district clubs to develop the next generation of Woods Rugby players.
