Vale Anthony “Tony” White (AKW)

With heavy hearts, Eastwood Rugby Club mourns the passing of Anthony “Tony” White, a true Woodie who gave so much to our club.

Tony started as a promising junior in the late 1960s, then proudly represented Eastwood in grade rugby throughout the 1970s. In the 1990s, he returned as a coach, leading our lower grades with passion and skill—securing two grand final wins during the club’s seven-grade era.

Tony will be deeply missed by his teammates, the players he inspired, and the entire Woods family.

Our sincerest condolences to Tony’s family and loved ones. Rest in peace, mate—forever a Woodie. 💙🤍
