In November, we opened Expressions of Interest for our 2026 Charity Partner program. We were looking for organisations with a genuine connection to our club and who share the values that define Eastwood Rugby: teamwork, inclusion and community.
After reviewing all submissions, we are pleased to confirm two Charity Partners for the 2026 season.
Each partner will receive:
Logo placement on our 2026 training and playing jerseys
Field signage at TG Millner in a prominent location, plus the opportunity to host activities on game days
Digital promotion across our social media, EDMs and website
Our first partner is Youth in Union.
Founded by former Eastwood player Locky McCaffery, Youth In Union provides rugby equipment to schools, clubs and young players in Tonga.
Their work aligns perfectly with our values of growing grassroots rugby, supporting communities and giving back. As part of this partnership, our retired jerseys will be sent to Tonga through the program, each carrying the Youth In Union logo.
Our second partner is Jersey Day.
Jersey Day is a national campaign raising awareness for organ and tissue donation, held on the first Friday in September.
It honours the legacy of Nathan Gremmo, a Hills local and Oakhill student whose organ donation saved six lives.
There is a strong and meaningful connection to Eastwood Rugby through Nathan’s friends and family, many of whom play here today.
The Jersey Day logo on our playing jerseys will help spark important conversations and increase awareness across our community.
Both organisations bring enormous value to our club and help strengthen our connection with players, supporters and the wider community.
