2026 NSW RUGBY UNION JUNIORS STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS WRAP UP 

What an incredible long weekend for Eastwood Rugby.

Across six teams, six venues and hundreds of kilometres travelled, our players proudly represented the blue and white at the 2026 NSW Rugby Union State Championships.

While every team had different results on the field, the one thing they all had in common was the way they represented Eastwood - with passion, resilience, sportsmanship and pride.

U12's Finished the tournament strongly with a fantastic win on the final day. The boys showed great improvement throughout the carnival and finished with 1 win and 1 draw for the tournament.

U13's Finished as Bowl Champions after drawing with Randwick in the Bowl Final and sharing the title. A fantastic result and reward for a group that continued to grow in confidence and belief throughout the tournament.

U14's Bowl Finalists. The boys showed tremendous determination across the weekend and can be incredibly proud of their efforts.

U15's State Championship Finalists. An outstanding tournament, recording 6 wins and progressing all the way through to the Grand Final. A fantastic achievement for the team and coaching staff.

U16's Finished 4th in NSW. The team played some outstanding rugby throughout the weekend and proved they can match it with the very best teams in the state.

Opens Finished 5th in NSW with an impressive 6 wins across the tournament. A tremendous effort and a fitting way for the under 18's in the team to finish their representative campaign

A huge thank you to our coaches, managers, parents, supporters, referees and volunteers who gave up their long weekend to make these opportunities possible for our players.

Congratulations to every player who pulled on an Eastwood representative jersey this weekend. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves.

Next up, our U10's and U11's will take centre stage at the NSW Rugby State Gala Championships on 18th - 19th July 2026.
