Passing of Allan Wilson

Dear Eastwood Supporters, Staff, Players present and past,

It is with great sadness that I advise of the passing of Allan Wilson. Allan was a past player and administrator of Eastwood District Rugby Club. He wrote “Those Magnificent Men” a history of the first 50 years of our club. Allan was a journalist and well respected in the industry by his peers than golfers that he covered. His family is holding a private cremation and there will be a memorial service in due course.

Allan is survived by his wife Faye and their family – our thoughts and prayers go out to them all. He suffered a stroke on Monday last week and passed away on Saturday.

Their loss and Allan’s passing will be felt by many.
